I spoke to George Agar’s wife Kay, and she said George Agar joined the service after graduation in 1943 and joined the United States Navy Air Force. The Navy discontinued the program he was involved with and he was reassigned to the Merchant Marines. George Agar and his wife Kay Meli, Tom Meli’s sister, are both in the 1943 - 20 year Reunion photo taken in 1963. Click here to view George T. Agar's Gravestone. |
